Only ten minutes away from our farmhouses you will find one of the marvels of the Chianti. Within the splendid Badia a Passignano Monastery you will find the fresco of the Last Supper by the great Renaissance artist Domenico Ghirlandaio.
The work was recently restored and returned to the public eye. It is located within the complex in Badia a Passignano, a majestically spiritual building that safeguards a 1000-year-old ancient story. The monastic complex, of probably Lombard origin, is still today a special place for its position, architecture and for its profoundly spiritual atmosphere.
